Although he refused to be tested it is very likely, due to his medical history, that Andy has Antiphospholipid Antibody Syndrome (APS). APS is a blood disorder that causes recurrent clotting events in the legs, lungs or brain. More information on APS can be found here: www.apsfa.org

Andy was diagnosed with Crohn's Disease when he was young. This auto-immune disease is characterized by chronic inflamation of the digestive tract. He learned to live with it but it was at times fairly debilitating for him. Information on Crohn's Disease can be found here: www.ccfa.org
